Continuing the established scientific traditions and research work of RUDN University in the field of linguistics and modern languages, the Department of General and Russian Linguistics of the Philological Faculty at RUDN University, together with partner organizations, is organizing the International Scientific and Practical Conference “VI Novikov Readings. Word, Text, Discourse in Functional and Cognitive Aspects”, dedicated to Professor L.A. Novikov’s 95th birth anniversary. The conference will take place on June 25-27, 2026.

Format
- In-person and online participation (Yandex teleconference).
- Conference languages: Russian, English.
- Registration fee: from 2,500 rubles. Detailed information about the registration fee
- All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
- Conference materials will be published in the periodical revue Cognitive Studies of Language, which is included in the List of the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) of the Russian Federation, the White List, and indexed in the RSCI
- The conference includes a plenary session, section meetings, a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program, and a Young Researcher School.
- It is possible to obtain a Certificate of Continuing Professional Education (the CPE for those who paid the registration fee is free).
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet the conference topic and requirements.
- Travel and accommodation are covered by the sending party or the participant personally.

Participants will receive a notification by mail about the inclusion of the report in the conference program. The organizing committee reserves the right to reject applications that do not correspond to the topic of the conference.

Conference participants pay the registration fee after receiving a letter of positive decision from the organizing committee, which will include payment details.
